CCV Data
CVV2, DTVV, CVC2, CID and CVN2 (referred to in Rapid Connect as CCV Data) are, Visa,
MasterCard, MaestroInt, American Express, Discover and UnionPay card verification tools designed to reduce fraud losses primarily on transactions when the card is not present. With the exception of American Express, this is a three character value printed on the back of the card in the signature panel, after the card number. For American Express, it is a four character value printed on the face of the card.
